Auction

I have found my way back into the studio for bits of time here and there. There is quite a lot of material remaining from production and I have been trying to find ways to use it up. Part of this stash was a surplus of cotton webbing used as handles for the canvas bags. I experimented with weaving it which turned into a tote bag which turned into a limited edition series of woven tote bags. There are three styles in three colorways. I added them to my shop. I don't have a plan but will probably continue to update the shop as projects unfold. We will see how things go. I will be donating 10% of sales to Rose Haven Day Shelter and The Oregon Food Bank.

I am also donating one of the woven totes to this auction and bake sale run by Kir Jensen and Jess Smith of Bushel and Peck Bake Shop. The auction goes live on July 4 and will be raising funds for 3 local organizations supporting the BIPOC community here in Portland, Equitable Giving CIrcle, Don't Shoot PDX and Black Resilience Fund. Last year the bakesale sold out in 2 hours raising $9000 for Raices Texas. Don't miss it.

Hi Everybody,

I hope you all had a happy and healthy holiday weekend. I'm loving the colder weather and shorter days. It means hot toddies and cozy times! I am so grateful to be able to do what I do and for all of the wonderful people this little business has brought into my life. Thinking of you this holiday season and feeling thankful for all of your thoughtfulness, notes, jokes and support. I am not participating in any holiday sales this year, but I have updated the online sale shop with a few bags.
Hope to see you soon!

All my best,
Sara
